The
Amotek Flex Series office chairs
Who is Amotek? What is an Amotek? How can I be sure that I am
getting the best in quality, service, and comfort?
The story begins with a gentleman named Kenneth Cohen (kcohen@bockonline.com),
a man with over 25 years of experience in the furniture
industry, who has worked with some of the largest, most
prestigious furniture manufacturers in the world.
Back in 1981, Mr. Cohen was a pioneer in introducing the West
German ergonomic chair to America. In the early 80's, people did
not see the need for a chair to move with your body. Why should
a seat move forward and back? Why should there be extra support
for your lower back? etc. The age of computers and ergonomics
was coming, and Mr. Cohen saw a need that had to be addressed.
So, he started a manufacturing company. This company began to
manufacture ergonomic computer chairs by using high quality
components from West Germany. Mr. Cohen also sourced other
superior chair components to offer a full range of seating.
Ergonomic computer seating became the company's hallmark. The
name of the company: Amotek/Lusa, Inc.
Amotek is based out of Monroe, CT. Many quality chair components
are now being made right here in the USA. Your Amotek chair is
made from American-sourced components and manufactured in
America to demanding standards. Your Amotek chair not only meets
and exceeds industry standards, it also meets certain Federal
Government standards as well. You won't find an Amotek chair in
the superstores, that's for sure. With Amotek, you can be
confident that you're getting the very highest quality,
state-of-the-art design in Ergonomics and value.
New products are being introduced year after year. As research
continues on the human body and ergonomics, so do Amotek's
efforts to bring you the latest in ergonomic comfort, style,
quality, customer support, and of course, a very competitive
price.
